A modern service and retail centre

In 2001, a modern service and retail centre was built in central Pärnu.

The aim of Meelis Nurme, architect of the building, was to accommodate a modern building on the 612-square metre property where there would be lots of light and air, and also use a new approach to construction materials.

The dominating characteristics of the building’s interior design are naturalness and strength – metal, glass and cement are supported by light birch veneer on the walls and wooden handrails of the stairs. The modern exterior solution of the building is blended into the old town by using red brick.

Today, the building houses service, retail and entertainment facilities.
